The Cast and Crew of No No Digital Editing Studios would like to
welcome you to the official This is Otakudom website. Actually, it's
just me, the webmaster. Since I couldn't be around to help the director,
Scott Melzer, while I was away at college, I decided to shoulder the burden
of online "advertising," as it were. And I'm not much of a master, just a
punk kid with a computer and a bag of HTML tags. But enough about me.
This is Otakudom is a fan parody of the anime fan scene, much
like the way Koko wa Otaku is a satire of anime fan parody
production. What's that? You didn't see Otaku? Shame on you! What do
you think you're doing, surfing the web? Find somebody with a copy and watch it
right now! Anyway, It's taken gallons upon gallons of blood, sweat, tears, and
other bodily fluids to get where we are now. And we're still not done yet! In
fact, I have a feeling that up until the last day before the con, we'll be
tweaking audio and redubbing scenes to get them just right. The point, of
course, is to make you laugh. If we don't hear peals of laughter when this is
screened, we'll probably be driven to a suicidal sense of defeat. Well, maybe
not suicidal, but I know that my feelings will be hurt, at least. And I
didn't even contribute that much.
Like the rest of the site, this section will be updated whenever I
receive new info, or touch up the site.
July 12: Added quotes and "swallow" question to bios, as well as
pictures of the cast/characters.
June 8: A few little changes. Went on brief hiatus to finish the
"other" video project
May 30: Uploaded all the changes to the Cast and Contributors pages,
and gave out the URL to our, urm, beta testing group.
May 2: Finished the slideshow viewer for the "Behind the Scenes"
pictures by the "on-site producer."
April 30: Made this page to begin with. Made the basic frame for
the "Word from Marti" page, although the only content are a bunch of blahs at
the moment...
And if you have any questions or comments that are site related,
feel free to drop me a line. Or don't...
