Aight, as some of you know, er had hurricane floyd, so I guess that's why
there was no e-mails for me, even though I could check mine. Wait... Cali
didn't get hit, and neither did Louisiana, or England...

Feature Article: What? Just News Briefs?

Sorry folks. Due to Hurricane / Tropical Storm Floyd, nothing
interesting happened. Sunds kinda weird saying that, but it's true.
everything was flooded out for like two days afterwards. . .
Tried to celebrate my friend's birthday by taking him out to dinner,
but Olive Garden (his all-time favorite resteraunt) was closed due to
water contamination, and the guy who had the Angel's food cake (the only
kind of cake he likes) couldn't get to us, cuz the roads were flooded. . .
Again, I'm missing one of the LuKas Updates. I think it's issue
9-10-99 or something near that. I have a copy of 9-06-99 and 9-19-99, so
it's the one bewteen. PLEASE SOMEBODY SEND ME A COPY, just to keep
records strait. . .
I was gonna wait until I got a DVD player, but I don't know when
that's gonna be, so I caved in and bought Mallrats on VHS. Once again,
I'm stunned as to how much BETTER this movie is than what critics said. . .
I redid my room decorations. Now the main attraction is my Clerks
Poster and the Lukas Fan Club sign some of y'all made me. I also hung my
allston beat & Ozone bags. ::sniff:: ah, the memories. . .
I got elected to three commitees in my church. Now I'm part of the
Worship Comittee, the Advertising Comittee, and the Congregational Care
Comittee. Now if Only I knew what that meant I do. I mean, the Worship
TEAM leads worship, and what do you exactly do to take care of the
congregation?. . .
Dude, there was an earthquake in Taiwan, so I was like super scared
that my relatives were hurt. But they're all okay. they even got off with
very little property damage. But man, did my heart race. . .
It looks like a bunch of us are starting to use Yahoo Messenger.
Despite the obvious rip off of AIM, this little chat program has a nice
little feature that lets most people with a microphone chat together,
even conference style! with no lag! (or so it boasts). . .
I'm still planning to make a pilgrimage to Red Bank, NJ and get
like, a boat load of Smithage Merchandise. IF YA WANT ANYTHING, YA GOTTA
MAIL ME & TELL ME! But don't ask me for a Chasing Amy soundtrack. they
don't exist. . .

I warned you before that my that taste ranged from middle of the road
to "Why did you kick the map into the river?!" The story begins about two
months before summer began. Mom was driving me to my Spanish tutor (don't
laugh). My free period was 4th, meaning I ate lunch at 10:20 in the
morning. So by 3:00 when school let out, I was hungry. To my surprise,
Mom whips out an english bagel with a bunch of sardines inside. At first,
I didn't know what to think, but since I had eaten termites before (true
story), I decided to give it a try. Not bad.
Later, after Harvard, I was hungry for some, well, food. So I found
some bread. But the peanut butter was out, the jelly missing, and the
coldcuts non-existant. But I did find a can of sardines. The rest is
history. . .
